Operating principle

Air is blown sideways into the top of the stack to separate the sheets on the top and then to hold them on air cushions. The leading edge of the top sheet is lifted by the rotating vacuum wheel and the sheet is pulled away from the stack. The separated sheet is accurately placed onto the outfeed and aligned for moving to the next process stage. This feeder is designed for separating thin products with delicate surfaces and paper sheets of a weight in the range of 40 – 170 g/m².
